Re: Alpha N blending

Upgrade to Extracode, then use Alpha-N with with the Multiply Map function enabled.

Works a treat on my GSXR, which on SD i was only seeing 70KPA at best at idle. Very easy to tune etc,

Re: Trigger wheel selection for GSXR1100

The 36-1 should be fine well past the 11k red line, especially with the new MAX9926 VR chip.

TiziK - please confirm the year of your bike. I find it VERY hard to fathom that a 2011 sport bike is a) still using a dual-spark ignition, and b) is NOT already EFI! (head scratch)

The 2011 was just for ...

Re: Trigger wheel selection for GSXR1100

So you only used one vr sensor I see. Were there any issues with the signal breaking up throughout the rev range?

And ultimately, what are the odds you can make another one up? :)

Yep just one VR is fine with this style trigger wheel and wasted spark. Keep it simple i say lol
This set up was ...

Re: Trigger wheel selection for GSXR1100

Hi,

This is what i used on my GSXR turbo.
triggerwheels.com 51mm universal 36-1 wheel. Turned the origional crank trigger down so was tight on the part that sits in the crank end, then turned out the centre of the 36-1 wheel untill it was a tight press fit, then pushed together in the vice. Before ...

Re: Weber/iaw sensors?

Hi,

Everything you need is available on line. Tunerstudio is available as a free download (efianylitics) and can be registered to get all the updates and unlocked features for not much money and i highly recomend doing this.
Also, once you get the ECU powered up, update the Firmware to the latest ...

Re: twin TB thumper

As has been said, probably the cable splitter would be the easiest way. All multicylinder 2 strokes use them as they use slide carbs as well, so pretty easy to source parts and cables to suit.
I dont really see the need to stage the opening off the TB,s as on the carbs, this was mainly done to keep ...

Re: zx9r fuel only stock ign pick up?

Have to aggree with Dontz125.

Microsquirting a bike is quite easy realy but i see many people having issues with crank triggering, cam sensors etc, when there is no real need.
To my mind the trigger wheel is probably the MOST important thing to get right. Throttle bodys, injectors, sensors, ect are ...

Re: What Are Minimum Requirements for MegaTune?

I have just started playing with this. Its a HTC Shift X9500 and is a full windows based 7" netbook. Full touch screen with a slide out qwerty keyboard as well.
its seems to work fine with both serial to USb and Bluetooth (way cool). But, it comes as standard with Vista which takes an age to boot ...
