What Are Minimum Requirements for MegaTune?

Well, it looks like the screen is big enough to work with MT (that's usually the killer for PDAs), but as far as I can tell the OS is not x86-win32, so it won't run.

Anyone here know if Windos CE is 32.. i am checking ebay dayly and a couple of palm top hp pop up every now and then. I'm guessing tat the serial sync cable is just a standard serial port downsized. this would travel well in my glovebox

Also anyone here know much about the Psion subnotebooks... they are 32bit pocessors and are suppose to support windows application on there alternate OS i'm thinking about these tooo if i can get one with cd drivers

otherwise i have to keep an eye out for an ol Toshiba libretto

Windows CE is not win32, plus it is usually installed on non-Intel processors. As far as I know MegaTune will not work on any Windows CE boxes.

cheap enough i can find out... i guess it doesn't have to be win32 to directly read Microsoft Office programs?

ok i guess if one is cheap enough i can try it in the meantime i will concentrate on looking for a small old laptop.

What about the PSion? it doesn't use windows at all but it's suppose to except any windows based software

Eric,

640x480 was sacrificed on the curve editor (it's over 520 pixels tall, if I remember right), but most everything else still fits just fine.

Not in the Megasquirt Extra version it doesn't

Lots of the dialogues are too big to fit on the screen, and refuse to be moved so that they can be completed (if you move them using the cursor keys, they jump back to align the top of the dialogue with the top of the screen).

Looks like I'm going to have to get a USB to serial adaptor.

I have just started playing with this. Its a HTC Shift X9500 and is a full windows based 7" netbook. Full touch screen with a slide out qwerty keyboard as well.
its seems to work fine with both serial to USb and Bluetooth (way cool). But, it comes as standard with Vista which takes an age to boot, so my brother has intalled W7 which apparently makes a world of a difference. This is running TS as seen below.

As can be seen i have built it in as my dashboard to give full gauges but most importantly, full onboard logging and VE Anylize live when ever i want it.
