Alpha N blending

Post by l_jonez »

Hi

I've got my cg13 running pretty well (v3) on speed density but the problem is its running ITB'S 55kpa at idle. so there's a very fine line between cruse and wot on the map sensor.

I would have liked to try alpha N but under "control algorithm" the only options I have are speed density and two types of alpha N blending.

I've read up on alpha blending and the theory sounds fine but I'm struggling to get it to work.

I was just wondering if there was a quick start guide or similar to get me heading in the right direction.

I'll post my msq later when I can get to the garage

Upgrade to Extracode, then use Alpha-N with with the Multiply Map function enabled.

Works a treat on my GSXR, which on SD i was only seeing 70KPA at best at idle. Very easy to tune etc,

Have you altered the kPa spacings in your tables to give a better resolution over small throttle openings? I found it useful on the GTS1000 when running SD only.

I'll give that a go, if it comes to it I'll update the code
