faulty pickup?

Hey. Running MS-II, v3, 2.36
EDIS-4 with 36-1 wheel

Has anyone experienced a faulty pickup on EDIS?
I have some strange drops in engine performance, wich result to one run with one small drop, one with several severe drops, and the next run is clean as a whistle. I have tried to adjust the gap ...

Upon looking at your log file, I think your problem is related to alternator disturbance. Have you tried to disconnect your alternator, and then take a test run?
I had similar disturbance, but got rid of it by installing a capasitor on the alternator, and a regular ice filter on the MS ...

Thanks man. There was somethings I havn't thought of.. I'll see into this in a couple of days, and post back here with result. Found the prob with uploading the log file, as you can't upload bigger than 1,5MB. I do not have a smaller file though, so I'll try to log again tomorrow, and post it then.

This is most definatly load dependant, or so it seems. I have been thinking of the fact that it's there all the time, but you will fell the drops more violent if you add more load. I agree though, but I'm not so sure that load is the factor.... the most annoying part of it all, is that it's ...

I doubt this has anything to do with the beta code. I run 2.36 with same result. Tried 2.86 with no change. Also re-flashed 2.36 several times.
I am led to believe that the problem is somewhere inside MS, as i get an engine bit zero when the drop accours. This is no re-set though, because all other ...

thanks alot. Will try this tomorrow.
I had alot of noise before, with tons of resets. Have put in noise supressor before MS, before edis, and before coil. Also replaced edis capasitor, and put capasitor on alternator. alså "star" grounded the engine.
But good point in this being noise from ignition ...
