Phasing injectors

Post by Steven »

Is it possible to phase the two banks of injectors with microsquirt? I want to set injectors at two distances from the inlet valve for low and high rpm fuelling.

Hi Steven,
This is called Staged Injection, and it part way down the link. You can also find other references outside this forum. The only proviso is you want higher impedance injectors.
However, because of your question, I think you're probably talking about a motorcycle engine, and the request is similar to what some OEMs use, you'll already have higher impedance injectors.

Thanks for the info, I'm on a steep learning curve. The engine is a Chevrolet inline 250 and because I'm using parts from a worn out LS truck v8 so I have enough parts to get creative.
