Hey guys post up your spark maps with engine details including

Number of cyls:
Number of valves:
Compression ratio:
Fuel quality:
Idle RPM:
Max Redline:
Firmware:

I am trying to get a good resource for various maps in MS.

I'd like to see some maps myself also. I'd post mine but it isn't much different from the included map because every time I make changes I get a little to drastic and end up start over again. I'm a NOOB.

Compression ratio: 10.3:1
Fuel quality: 98octane out here in Australia
Idle RPM: ~850 @ ~65-70kpa
Max Redline: 6500rpm at the moment
Firmware: MS2 2.36

1994 Ford Explorer 4.0 V6 Cologne EDIS6 Factory EFI no MAF.

This is the oldest of the three Megasquirted vehicles I have done, notice the relatively simple map when compared to the latest Bronco 2 spark strategy.

Thanks Scott!

So far I reduced the stock table overall by 5 deg. So the table now maxis out at 31 deg under high RPM and MAP. This seems still to advanced being I still get a slight slight ping under high load. Of course this goes away if is it damp outside. The only other area I get some ping is where the table transitions from low RPM high MAP to mid RPM high MAP. I see that area in your Escort 2.0 Map has a much lower slope than the rest of the MAP. Slope increases as the MAP pressure goes down. This was what I was picturing that I needed to do but I was iffy about implementing it.

Now I'm thinking again,
