O2 wiring

How do i wire up a four wire o2 wide band sensor i only have wiring digram for a three wire narrow band one and is it essential to run a air temp sensor.

A four wire sensor is a narrow band sensor, and has two separate circuits:

- a sensor circuit, with signal and ground leads,

- a heater circuit, with heater and ground leads.

Wide band sensors have 5 or more wires, and require a separate controller board.

Cheers mate sorry about being a bit thick but im new to diy ecu s. i have a ford bosch one with a grey two whites and a black do the two whites go to ignition and earth ether way round and the grey sig- and the black+ were do these go does the black go to ignition live and the grey go to the realy board.
