Module board height

For engine experimenters, the MicroSquirt® PCB is offered in a module format with enhanced capabilities to be plugged into other boards. This is the place to discuss the MicroSquirt Module.

Module board height

Post by dontz125 »

Ok, me again with the weird questions...

I have an idea going through my head for a mounting arrangement that I think would work very nicely, but the box dimensions are awful darn close; I'm shaving fractions of a mm here...

I've found the length and width of the uSM PCB; I cannot for the life of me find the height. Could some kind soul please figure out the minimum headroom needed for one of these boards, and let me know?

TIA,

Don

The tallest component, circled in yellow, on my module board is approximately 3.5mm above the circuit board, but I don't have any pin out connectors attached to the 50 pin or the 10 pin J1 connector.
