GM V6 DIS wiring

I have been running EFI/DIS on a Corvair (www.corvair-efi.com) for years with my GM OBD-1 Computer. I wanted to go to a easier computer and it would also allow the Corvair Community to have a self programmable computer. I was assured that no issues would be encountered except that the idle (stepper IAC) would not be supported. I like the system layout, size, etc, but my big problem is the 4 wires for the control side of the DIS. It would be the same setup as the 7/8 pin GM for distributor operation. This is wasted spark and controlled by DIS ignition module.
The problem is I see so many different wiring diagrams on the forums. There is only one correct answer.. guessing does not work and even the manual says wiring has not been confirmed. Grounding the Reference Low as some diagrams show is not the answer as "The General" would have grounded at the DIS. I also know that some would say switch to Ford EDIS, but we already have 7x wheels made and it really works well as designed.
Does anyone here use a GM V6 using wasted spark coil pack as designed (7x trigger wheel) in there setup with a Microsquirt? Again, I know there are some wiring diagrams on the forum, but I know I not the only person to ever try GM Wasted spark or 7/8 pin.

Thanks for the help in advance.
