Combined map/maf with frequency maf

I was planning to use the combined map/maf option. It seems that frequency maf sensors can now be used, but I'm confused by the language in the quick start guide.

The guide states - "If, however, the combined MAF/ MAP option is selected, then MAF MUST be connected to the Barometric/second EGO sensor pin (#29)."

But it also states - "You can also use pin 5 of the Ampseal for MAF. Plus, if you have Frequency output MAF, you MUST use this pin because it is simultaneously tied to processor pin T7 which is the only timer pin that has a special read Frequency period mode, so it automates this process, making it much more accurate."

Since both of these state I MUST use a certain pin, does this mean that I can't use a frequency maf sensor when choosing the combined option?
