cheap available hall effect sensor
I am putting a 36-1 wheel on a porsche 924S and I would like to use a hall effect sensor. I am looking for a sensor to use that I can find fairly easy and use to make a trigger kit for this motor. I have always used VR sensors in other MS 36-1 installs.
Any recomendations?
Thanks,
Pete

Over here it's just over $12 on fleaBay.

This thing rocks, modern sensor, not an old early 90's unit, can read small diameter small tooth profiles just fine, zero speed capable, fairly small, insensitive to gap or alignment on a 2mm tall 2mm gap tooth. Ideal for small diameter wheels with small teeth.
FYI has twin elements, one triggers on tooth edge, one triggers in the center of the gap, just use the A leave B unhooked.
1K pullup recommended for smaller teeth, needs a little current to get nice square edges at speed.
