How to do a MicroSquirt reboot?

Post by UMaineCSC »

We are trying to burn new values in the ignition control window to our ECU and these settings are highlighted in red. MegaTune says changing these settings requires a reboot of the controller in order to burn the settings. We have searched this forum and the MicroSquirt manual and the closest thing we have found was something to do with "bootloader mode" but could not find any other information. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

"Reboot" means you have to turn the power to MicroSquirt off, then back on. Nothing else is needed.

Note also the reboot is not for the burn but so the program re-initializes itself using the new data. Some inputs (like those in red) are used to make one-time calculations at startup. Cycling power forces the ecu to redo the calculations with the new input data.
