URGENT: Code 2.889 Question

Post by UMainePhaze09 »

The team is leaving for competition on Saturday and need to fix an issue we're having. When we open MegaTune, the program alerts us about the expanded coolant temp:

WARNING:MegaSquirt-II.ini:0183 - Conditional check references undefined value 'EXPANDED_CLT_TEMP'.
Only first reference will be reported.

We have a computer and touch-screen monitor mounted to our competition snowmobile, but have to lock out the monitor at competition to ensure that no tune changes occur between events. Because the screen will be locked out, we can't have this warning pop up, it needs to bypass the alert and go directly to the program where we can see the gauges. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I don't really want to have to change code versions, because most of the .msq files we've tried haven't worked with different versions. If our 2.889 .msq will work with the new version 2.890, please let me know!

UMP09,

Fisrt, you shouldn't be using 2.889 - it was withdrawn shortly after release and there was a note to this effect posted. Use 2.890 instead. Also use the INI that goes with 2.890. You will find the code and INI here: http://www.microsquirt.info/uscode.htm

To fix the 'EXPANDED_CLT_TEMP' issue, you need to grab the settings.ini file here: http://www.megamanual.com/files/ini/settings.ini It goes into the C:\Propgram Files/MegaSquirt/Car1/mtCfg/ folder (or similer, if your default project is not called "Car1").

Lance.
