hi guys, i am looking at efi ing my TT600. it has a twin carb from factory. i have been looking at which throttle bodies to use. i haven't really found any good options yet. one thing i came up with is i have a spread bore holley carb here ( 650 ? ) it's butterflies are 35mm, as opposed to the 28mm std carbs. the spacing is spot on, and i reckon i could mount up a tps pretty easy. i am looking at either welding tubes onto the baseplate,or making mild steel adaptors. can anyone see any glaring faults with this ? the plan is also to mount the injectors in the pipe between the butterflies and engine.

If you look at any modern throttle bodies, most of them come apart.
you could use two of them from a 4 cylinder set up. and easily modify a throttle linkage. i used the suzuki 750 ones for my bike..ok its a 4 cylinder one but i could see it could be done.
i have seen a few home made ones...and there are some very good idea's.
it might be worth it, but you can pick up a set off ebay for about $100. the injectors alone will cost more than that

yes, i agree. i have found some SV650 tb's on ebay. when they turn up i'll have a look at how they fit. i have injectors here i reckon i can use. also a tps and fuel pump, etc etc. thanks for the input.
