Re: wideband calibration
1. You can do this first step without being connected to the uS. On the laptop go to Start/Programs/Megatune/Megatune Configurator 2.25. In the configurator window click on the + box next to your project name, click on settings.ini then settings then Lambda Sensor. In the drop down box at the top of the page select the type of your wideband. Then click on file/save and exit the configurator program. This enables Megatune to work with your wb.
2. Connect laptop to uS, open up Megatune, make sure engine is not running. Go to Tools/Calibrate AFR table and select your wideband type. Burn to uS.
3. Make sure you are using the "WB linear" output wires of the TechEdge, not "SV Out". The ground wire for the TechEdge should be grounded at the uS grounds to ensure accuracy.

Re: wideband calibration
i had a bit of a brainstorm.
the techedge was connected to my fuel pump relay. so i was trying to calibrate it with no power supply.
my afr gauge now shows 2.2 without the engine running...is this right ?

Re: wideband calibration
You do not need to have power to the wb when doing any of the above. Step 1 tells Megatune what to expect from the uS in terms of wb signals. Step 2 tells uS how to interpret the voltage output from the wb controller. Or something like that.
Also keep in mind it takes about 20 seconds for a wb to warm up and give proper indications. It will not give any sensible information until 20 seconds is up.
