Thremistor from Mouser for use with Microsquirt?

Post by RobertShannon »

EPCOS makes a thermistor that seems to match the GM closely.
It has a 25C resistance of 3K and a 3988 B25/100 ratio. It is about 204 ohms at 100 C and 9795 ohms at 0C and is +-1%
Seems to be a good match? Any thoughts. I was thinking I could make an air temp and head temp sensor for my aircooled SRX out of a pair of these without much matching needed in the software of microsquirt.
the part number is B57863S302F40
The Mouser # is with 871-B57863S302F40
This has twin 30awg leads, Teflon insulated leads and is only 2.41mm Max OD. It could be epoxy'd into an Aluminum 6mm screw for an air or head temp sensor?
The data sheet is available on http://www.mouser.com
