Coolant sensor adaptor

Post by hybrid »

I came across a website that had coolant sensor adaptors that connected to a heater hose etc.
You could basically cut your coolant line, and clamp these things inline, then screw in your sensor.

I thought I saw them on diyautotune.com, but I cant seem to see them now.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can get one?

I can always spin one up on the lathe, but I'm feeling a little lazy.

What hose size do you need? Would any of these work? They come in 1/8 and 3/8 NPT, so make sure you get the right one for your sensor.

Thanks, thats exactly the kind of thing I'm after.

I will get a measurement of my hose inside diameter, and I'm using the standard GM sensors, so I should need 3/8 NPT
