FINALLY :: production version of MicroSquirt

Post by Bruce Bowling »

I finally have sent off the PCB gerber files for the V1.00 version of MicroSquirt to be made up. The boards will then go to the CM for assembly, then they get sent to the programmer/checkout person, then back to be conformal-coated and put in the case. In parallel, the harness assemblies will be made up.

The holdup was a few last-minute changes, including a hook to obtain serial Txd/Rxd for a small wireless board. Lance also discovered a component value in the opto circuit that needed to have a higher voltage rating.

Also, Al is getting ready to tie off the current beta version and release as production code - I want a stable base code implemented as a baseline.

The process of assembly, programming, etc will still take some weeks, but I would project a month to get them to a point to ship to distributors.
