Burn doesnt burn unless closed...?

I spent the morning totally confused. Id adjust my ignition trigger angle, burn, hear the engine stumble and pick up again and have no change in angle on the crank. Id change it again, burn , no change. Do a Fetch and it comes back with the original number. Hmm. So i tried burning, closing the window and then checking crank, no change. Open window and fetch - new number is there but crank no different. Reset the MS and new number is there AND crank has changed. I repeated this several times to get the trigger angle right so i know its not just me getting confused with a one off.

It seems to only burn when you actually close the settings dialog, and only change ignition settings when you reset. 029q, v2.2 board, MT 2.25 on windows 95.

Thoughts?

You may need to TAB out of the field to make get the value sent correctly?

e.g. type 60 TAB click BURN.

You'll know it was sent to the ECU because it stumbles a little.

It will stumble but you might not hear it unless flying or idling. If i give mine a blip and burn when on the decel i cant hear it, but if im idling it occasionally stalls and on the highway it makes an "off throttle" feeling for a second. If you arent getting previous numbers up then it will be fine.
