LSx Engine with MS2
i am a generally noob to tuning but not to the sensors and their function.
i understand somewhat how the system works, but the real issue i have is the ignition department
this is my buildup:
414 ci LSx 250's duration cam with over .650 lift
12.75 SCR 9:1 DCR
hi flow heads (365 cfm) hi flow sheetmetal intake
i built the engine and am working on the manifold now.
i am an auto machinist and engine builder, fabricator
the damper i am using has a provision for a crank trigger and
i will be mounting a 36-1 wheel for use with VR sensor
so i dont really need to use the COP of the LS1 engine
i have read on here and seen others use ford ignition components
like the mod motor coils from mustangs.
i dont care of using any stock sensors since it seems easier to use a 36-1 wheel for ignition.
i will use all the other needed GM sensors needed to run the MS system
however.
please help me out and feel free to offer any services or advice that any one sees are helpful to me.
i greatly appreciate it
thanx

And then pick the EDIS link.
I bought my EDIS parts from here: http://home.earthlink.net/~beanbooger/b ... gineering/
If it was me though, I'd keep the existing COP system for now and just use MS to control the fuel. Once MS is capable of handling COP, then you use it to control spark. Plus, it can be difficult to troubleshoot both spark and fuel control if you try to do both from scratch.
