CHB,

The settings for MAPdot are largely a 'feel' sort of thing.

Don't make the MAPdot threshold too low (I have mine at 100 kPa/sec). I have my upper value at 250 kPa/sec.

The MAPdot tends to react much faster, and in larger kPa amounts to small changes in the throttle at low rpms (where TPSdot doesn't work so well), so the lower kPa/sec bins tend to be used less (and are generally less important for off idle transitions).

So you just have to drive around, and raise the values whenever you get a 'cough' on acceleration. If you were accelerating very easily, raise the lower bin values, if you stomped it and it coughed, raise the upper bin values (you can also check a datalog to see the actual MAPdot rate).

Lance.
