Spark advance or retard V3

I recently purchased the MS system for my old hemi. I got the Joe Hunt mag converted to Pertronix ignition since the Chevy style HEI system wouldn't clear the Hilborn injectors. The problem I have now is that the spark advance is totally mechanical. Is there a system I can add to my engine that will sense spark knock and retard the spark automatically? Thank you, Bill

Bill,
Yes, you can set the entire spark advance table to zeros, but still use a knock sensor.
If your distributor has no vacuum advance, you could also add that in the spark advance table (increasing advance at lower kPa) while letting the distributor handle the mechanical (rpm dependent) advance. The downside is that you would not know the exact advance except with a timing light (but which is no worse than what you have now, really...)
