BOV and MAF

Post by tibby01 »

first post. i find this stuff really interesting and just wanted to say thanks to all who ever had a part in creating this.

i plan on using ms-I and the v3 mainboard. just wondering if the megasquirt has a feature that allows you to compensate for the air lost venting into atmosphere with a BOV. i will be using a secondary injector setup, with a MAP sensor for the megasquirt(acting as a piggyback). the maf will be before the turbo, so it will be metering air which will exit the system once i let off the throttle. what im looking for is something that will intercept the maf signal so the stock ecu doesnt send tons of fuel in when the bov opens? i really would like to stay away from having to recirculate.

thanks for the help guys.

I can't think of any way you might do that without taking control of all the injectors with the MS and let the MAF system just "think" it is controlling them. Iassume your stock ecu is needed for other things the MS can't control.
