I am getting a MSII V3 for my Volkswagen ABA 4cyl engine.

I would like to do the following:

-Use the stock 60-2 crank wheel and VR sensor
-Get rid of the distributor
-Drive one coil per cylinder

I have read some MSnS-E documents about this, but none about MSII. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

would you use 3 or 4 pole cops. the 4 pole have an integrated ignition controler. don't know how to use them with megasquirt.

I'll probably just buy three more bosh coils and put the proper ends on some 11mm wires. they're 3-wire coils.

Sure, how can I get hold of him?

Will you be using the 60-2 trigger wheel? MSnS-E or MS2?

good luck. i tried with the vr sensor and had too many difficulties, i just ran with a audi 80 dizzy and used the stock coil. to get the coil to work i had to wire two wires coming directly off of the coil. the third is the little ignition module sitting under the coil. you dont need that

im at the point where i need to work out the trigger pattern wheel decoder and its so confusing :RTFM:

i read it 20 times and it still makes no sense im running 60-2 crank vr sensor

trig pos A ?
and so on

i think that trig A should be the tooth at the vr sensor when the crank is (TriggerAngle) before TDC, trig return A is TDC, trig B should be (TriggerAngle)+180, trig return B is 2(TriggerAngle)+180

(TriggerAngle) is the maximum retard

note that I am probably wrong, this is just what I can tell from the documentation
