superfiero,
On a V2.2 board, to check the serial port you can do a "loopback test". Follow this instructions in step #22 here:
To find if other programs are running, first try 'Ctrl-Alt-Del' all together (but just once). This should list all the programs that are running. Look for any that *might* be a fax/modem (you must keep systray and explorer).
You can kill any you find directly from the dialog that springs up when you do ctrl/alt/delete, or you can look in 'start/program' to see if any fax/modem software is listed and configure it to not start on power-up. Alternatively, you can also type msconfig in the run box to see what is starting and block anything.
Lance.

everything works now, just need to tune it out. I think the IAC is cracked and making a huge vaccum leak. will replace it with my v6 one if its the same and see if it gets better. thanks lance

been having fuel leak problems but got them all fixed now. need to check my fuel pressure to be sure of a solid 43 psi or higher but for now its alright. little low on cash but will be getting back to it soon. It will start up and idle now, need to get my 02 sensor in so I can drive it. The tap will be here tomorrow or later today so I can thread the hole in the manifold for the 02. If you guys noticed anything bad on that last datalog, just tell me but everything seems fine. thanks, AC

got the tap and installed the 02 sensor. tuned it out for idle and everything is working pretty good, my VE map is pretty skewed and need to figure out how to fix it. when I rev it goes off the map, how do I fix that? thanks in advance, AC

ok, I have been tuning it for quite a while now with no real improvement besides idle. It has no power. I can push the pedal to the floor. I have a few questions, when in autotune, what ego correction should I be shooting for on accel? also, in cruise, what is the target afr? I have tried the map generator, I have tried others maps to no success. If anyone has anything to add, dont be shy. thanks
