The 3.5 L Rover V8 has a 3.5" bore and a 2.8" stroke. Knock sensors are available for that engine, which has aluminum block and heads. That should get you in the ballpark. Larger displacement versions came later, mostly via an increase in stroke but I'm pretty sure a larger bore was also introduced.

It's good to know the v2 code can be cut and pasted into the v1 code. Might make some things a lot easier for those who have a v1 MS-II.

I doubt it will be that simple... There is a lot of demand for that code, however, so I'm pretty sure that someone will do the work to integrate it.

As much as I wish I knew how to, I know it won't be me that will be doing any codechanging.

DarrowConley,

V2.53 and v2.6 have been released to beta testers. Assuming that goes well, I assume V2.53 will be released shorly. V2.6 has a number of more significant changes, and will be a bit longer in testing, I suspect.

Is knock-sensor-retard available in version 2.5X or 2.6 for second gen MSII yet?
Is anyone interested in using it to mod the first gen code?
If not, I am going to have to buy the second gen MSII
I wonder if B&G would allow me to trade up  I think $20 plus a first gen MSII core would be fair

Thanks,
Tony
