Help with AE parameters

Post by jonfx4com »

Can anyone help me out with some tested examples of AE parameters for a 4 pot engine with 45 mm ITB's I cant seem to get a setting that either doesn't enrich even when I'm not even in the car (MAP pulsation at idle) or goes weak when I blip the gas. My req fuel is around 12.2 and I'm using 2 squirts simultaneos if thats relevent. Its driving me wild as everything else works just fine. Also have a problem with engine stalling after I give it a rev up. The idle is normally quite solid so I suspect maybe its decel fuel cut off not ending fast enough when I snap the throttle shut from high RPM. All in all both problems seem to me to be relate to the acceleration settings page.

Also is MAPDOT in the datalog shown before or after MAP damping. Reason I ask is because in my log I have small but fast MAP changes that trigger AE, would a change in the damping factor help or is this just going to give me sluggish map response?

mapdot has much noise. That is why I use tpsDOT. Try increasing the MAP lagfactors, might help.

decel only works when TPSdot < threshold.. meaning if the throtle is not moving decel imediately stops. There is no time factor like with accel.
There can not be decel triggered off of mapdot (check a datalog to see why!)
