Can I use negative spark timing values?

Post by bergsls »

Just curious about using negative values in Tuner Studio for ignition timing values, specifically in the Left most bins. I know I could "trick" the MS v3.77 by adjusting the offset in TS, but was just wondering, could you just use a negative (-) symbol in front of a numeral to indicate ATDC? Would the software and MS controller understand that? It would just be easier to adjust a few bins, rather than change the offset, then change most of the bins, and hope you remembered that your whole map is really bogus at a later date :(
Using an M-0 wheel with crank sync on a 1 cylinder waste spark...Thanks for any input!

Yes. The minimum timing is -10.
