wanting to isolate injector/turn off/on

Post by naturalextraction »

For my system I need only one injector pulsing during operation. There are two injectors total at different two separate points of the system. Currently I utilized a three position switch to power on between the two from the ecu signals, not power. It occured to me this might and probably will through a code. I haven't tried it yet and currently finishing up the wiring and triple checking everything and trying to get some questions answered. Will I need to put a resistor on the side of the switch (dummy load) on the injector I'm not using or with this method of blunt "no connection" work? Your thoughts?

Is this like staged injection? Or is it Primary & Secondary?, so you have one injector say close to the inlet, and another further away, say above the throttle body, like you see in sports motorcycles?

yes, so for now a manual connection/ determination. I still have to log values to determine when which one will be triggered when. I can't do that till I can get some test runs in.
