MicroSquirt does not update EGO voltage

Post by CNG_BikeTeam »

hi,

we are running a MicroSquirt ECU connected to a TechEdge lambda controller.
Code version: 2.890
TechEdge 2J2 connected to a Bosch LSU 4.2 wideband oxygen sensor.

Problem:
When looking at the EGO voltage using TunerStudio or MegaTune, the ECU does not update the voltage.... i.e. The ECU only takes an initial reading of the TechEdge output at startup. The initial EGO voltage is meaured correctly but the ECU or software never seems to refresh/update the value.
Currently we have not actually started the engine with the ECU attached as we are still setting up the CNG fuel delivery system (the project is to retro fit a motorcycle to run on CNG).

Does the ECU only update the EGO voltage when the engine is running?

Thanks,

Yes, you need an active tach signal before EGO is updated. Lance.
