I've just stubled upon this site <link deleted by moderator>, could I just borrow the technical
data from the site or do I need some kind of permission?. I'm doing a project for school.

Permission to copy info from website would need to be provided by that site's owners. Acceptability for use in a school requirement should be checked with the instructor.
