open up a new word document. shrink it to your task bar.
open up the page you want to copy in megatune, press control (ctrl) and print screen ( top right hand corner of keyboard) both at the same time.
re open the word document and right click, paste it. you should have a copy of what was on the pc screen

Well if someone doesnt help me Im going to take a hammer to this thing and put carbs back on it.I had it to the point where it would communicate with
MS but i would tell me MS had 2.88 installed and MT had 2.87 install so i ran all the updates including s19 file and lost all communication. when I would open MT It was locked and the ego bar on the bottom was pegged and the tach was not bouncing any more. So i uninstalled MT and reinstalled it but when i try to set the ini file 2.8 does not exsist someone give me some direction please.

If I understand your issue at this point - Sounds like you need to manually drop the 2.8 ini file into the Megatune folder at this point. The default path is: C:\Program Files\MegaSquirt\MegaTune2.25\mtCfg

so if you open megatune and try to configure your ini file you cant find megasquirt-ii.ini.2.862.
if you cant, go to the diy auto tune web site and download the latest version..2.25 i think.
once you have the ini file go to the top and activate it..this now becomes your ini file.
if you need to modify any gauges, open up search in windows, type mega...and then you will find the config files, it opens in note pad.
i would send a screen dump...but i cant load a windows document

Ok this is where I stand now. Did port check this mourning and it shows under comm 4 115200 Embedded code2.00 B&G so I tried to set the ini file to 2.0 so i could communicate with MS and nothing happened. When i try to open MT I get two warnings one is about n20 and the other is about map baro
then i get a signiture warning expected 2.88 received 2.00. Do I need to reestablish communications with MS then reflash the ECU or would I be better to to do a system restore on my computer and start from scratch.

It sounds like Megatune is set up for 2.88 code, which means it is expecting to connect to a uS with 2.88 code in it. So load 2.88 code into your uS using the MS2 downloader. Use the instructions from the Msefi site if in doubt as to how to do this.

Dont I have to have an established connection to use the downloader?

195suz,

You do have a connection, otherwise you would not get the 'received 2.00' part of the error (which comes from MicroSquirt telling MegaTune what code is loaded on the processor).

So as Ian says, your best bet is to load the 2.886 code, you can get it here: http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/code.htm (note that instead of jumpering the boot header as on MS-II, you need to ground the bootloader wire - on pin #15 - on MicroSquirt when powering up to load code).

Lance

Thats what I needed to know I will try that when I get home. My concern is how the hell I got the 2.00 in there to begin with.
