v2.883b release - bug fix

Post by grippo »

We recently found that with v2.883 loss of tach signal synch can cause a processor reset which might leave the coils charging for a longer period than is good, especially if there is repeated loss of synch. Note that the problem does NOT in any way cause loss of synch - it only aggravates the problem when they do occur. It was caused by moving some memory around in the ignition interrupt. This code appears to fix the problem completely.

Since most of the microsquirts out there have 2.883 code, everyone should reload with the attached new code unless you know you have prior code because that is what you yourself loaded.

All,

The revised 2.883b code is also here: http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/code.htm

The S19 can be downloaded directly from this link: http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/Monitor_v2.883b.abs.s19

The downloader package has been updated as well.

The INI is the same as for the 2.883 code, so unless you are updating from an earlier code, you won't need to change that.

Lance.
