All but success
It actually made some noise!
I have not picked up my sensors yet, so everything was grounded except for TPS.
I'm amazed it started... its also running the tune out of the box.

Awesome! No sensors, and it still runs!hybrid wrote:Well tonight I got ever closer to having my RZ500 engine fuel injected.

Can you post your ignition setup (number of coils and crank trigger type) and what code version you are using? We like the feedback on what is working for installations...

I probably won't be too much help in that department.
Input to the Microsquirt is from the aftermarket Zeeltronic ignition systems tach out (12v square wave).
I'm running two coils - each with two plug leads. This is the standard RZ500 setup.
Its a VR sensor on the crank, but the Microsquirt doesn't see it.
The reason I went for the aftermarket programmable CDI is because my cranks are geared together, so the rear crank is slightly behind the front crank (which means it runs more advance and hence runs hotter).
I needed to trail the rear ignition by 3 degrees behind the front. And uS couldn't do this with my 2stroke wasted spark setup.
There is only one pickup and two bumps on the flywheel, so every cylinder is sent a spark every 180 degrees.
I still dont think I'm out of the woods yet... Megatune shows a required fuel of 2.0. I'm hoping I can lower the fuel pressure and get this value higher.
I'm running throttle bodies, but they use regular injectors.
Should I set to throttle body or port injection under injection control?
