Race Motorcycle

Is the megasquirt/microsquirt able to keep up with the high rpms of a race bike?

I know someone probably has already covered this but I can't find any post on anyone running on 10k + rpms

Horicus,

It depends to some degree on the ignition input configuration. With a single input per tach event, the code has been tested to 65000 rpm (on a signal generator).

For the missing tooth wheel combination,, I beleive the last I tested to was 14500 rpm with a 60-2 wheel, but Al has made some speed improvement to the code since them, I believe.

In any case, 10000 rpm should be no problem.

Lance.
