LS1 coils, VB921, possible stand alone Ign?

I have a honda 4 cly M/C. stock CDI ign uses 2 VR sensors over mech advance on crank. stock coils and ignitors are weak design. LS1 coil packs have onboard ignitors w/ separate power and ground. trigger is IC pos. pull-up. I'm looking for a go between or stand alone ign setup while waiting for micro-squirt. is there a way to take the VR signal and translate into positive pull up to trigger coils pack, possible simple VB921 circut? current clamping is not the issue as coils is powered separate, just needs clean trigger, I have a good understanding of electrical but not an engineer.
