MicroSquirt temp rating

Are all the componants in the MicroSquirt going to be automotive rated so that it can be installed underhood?

Yes, the components selected are automotive temp. And from testing the highest temperature of any component is about 6 degrees above ambient, including power regulator and injector drivers. Even the VB921s, with the proper dwell setting, only run about 5 degress above ambient.
