Megatune vs techedge 02 readings

Post by ptegler »

So which do I rely on? My TEchedge 2A0 is reading 12 or so, A/F, but the megatune screen is saying 15-16 or so A/F.

(running mt225 and 29q on a v3 MS1)

Is there a menu seetting I can change to gethtem to read the same values?

(yes...I've gon through the Techedge cal twice and it seems right)

You are using WBLin output of the 2E0 and Generated the AFR tables using Techedge WBLin in Megatune aswell?

That is how I configured mine and both the display and Megatune are perfectly in sync.

Did you make sure to run the reference ground from the techedge to the MS?

Just re-flashed the wbo2 2ao unit I have. Afterwards.... using the wbconf util to change each of the output pin scales now works...according to the voltmeter I hooked to each output.
The LD01 still reads way off by about 2 (to the rich side).

Ok. Make sure your 2A0 (-) is going to the same ground point as Megasquirt. I imagine you're just using the 1 wire from MS to WBLIN(+), which means WBLIN(-) uses the case GND. That's very important.

Second, If your voltage output on WBLIN(+) is correct, check your AFR tables in Megasquirt. I think there is an afr.log or something when you import a table array to your ECU showing AFR -> V's. If those 2 match then you can concentrate on getting your LD01 to read correct. I'm not sure how they work internally or whether they are similar to my LD02 but I had to flash my LD02 because it has an ATMEGA processor which does the LED and Linear display conversion.

In short, get your 2A0/MS voltages in sync then check what your LD01 is doing. WBConf should be able to flash it from memory (it's been a while since I built my LD02).
