Will not run!!

Post by HB280ZT »

Hi All,

Well I have my turbo 1977 280Z almost running on a MS1 V3 board with a 29i code and 2,25 Megatune. Here is some more information:

1982 280ZX turbo motor
Palnet fuel rail with 460cc injectors low impedence
relay board wired with help from moby at Hybridz and DIYautotune 1983 280ZX turbo wiring information.

The car starts but will not run. When it tries to start I get a fast blinking 17 led and a blinking 18 led, oh yea 18 is acq setting so that I know if I am getting a trigger or not from the distributor.

Here are a few data logs and 2 of my msq files.

Any ideas please let me know??

Thanks

Upgrade to 029q2 for starters as there were a few bugs around 029h, 029i, 029j

If it starts but doesn't run then maybe you need to check your ReqFuel, afterstart and warmup settings.

I talked to Harry on the phone last night and he sent me a datalog.
Oddly although he notes RPM on the MT gauge, his datalog had 0 rpm for the length of the attempted start.

I think he's upgrading now.
I'm puzzled though as to why he doesn't log rpm

Upgraded to 029q2 code.

Tried to remember all of the corrections to make this thing run, but it still does not run??

So I am back to wondering what is wrong. I still see rpm in Mega tune but no rpm in the data log.

Here is a new data log using the 29q2 code.

I noticed the MAP never goes down. Are you sure it's in the correct location to read manifold pressure?
Put a vacuum gauge in parallel (use a 't' fitting) and see if you get vacuum when it revs up
