MS 2 coil output

Post by Timmerklits »

Hello,

I have MS 2 V3 main board installed on a 4cyl alfa 75.

I use the high current driver (direct coil control). And my tach signal comes from a VR.

But my ignition sometimes falls off, its not enough to let my engine die, if it isn't idling.

I see this on my rev counter (ground of the coil), he drops sometimes.
And also the high voltage swings from 20 to 15 kV.

Can there be some kind of interruption between the high current driver and something else, or is this just simple a wrong set up in the program...?

I hope that someone can help me.

So I can tune the VE tables....

Do a datalog and check if RPM is dropping out on ignition event. A couple of us have been battling this problem lately.

Also which board type & revision/code/MT version are you using?

Hello,

In the datalog the rpm stays stable when ignition drops out.
I think he skips some pulses but I don't know why.

I have V3 Main board MS2
Mega tune 2.25 with 2.3 ini file.
Direct coil control, ignition input VR in distribiutor.

Can it be something with the pots in the VR circuit?
Its just that the rpm in megatune is stable. (comes from vr sensor)

But the rpm in my dash, from the coil, drops a lot of times.
