Tuning 5.0L Ford Fuel only, datalog attached, please help!

Post by newstylecustoms »

I really don't know what I am looking at when I view a datalog or what to do with the info it provides. Please provide me with some insight as to what I can do to make this run better.

My board is v2.2, using extra code w/fuel only.

I previously had an issue with tach spikes and it looks as though I still do. The truck is much more driveable now but just doesn't have the power it should.

I have already put a 1k resister in place of R10. Does it look like I should use the "Dave cap".

Thanks for any help.

Matt,

Yeah, try the Dave cap, it's the first thing to use, and solves most problems. Until you get that sorted, there's not a lot of point tuning too much.

Lance.

Alright the "dave cap" is installed and there doesn't appear to be any spikes. Driveability is pretty good but the power is just not there. I need help with what to do now.
