Anybody try autometer Part# 9118, for triggering MSII?

i bought one the other day, i'll post results. It does give a strong clean signal I noticed.

K, this is what I got.
MSII V3 board, 2.34s19
Single cylinder, four stroke
Using VR - Tachsel input
Same result with hall input
With Autometer magneto signal converter, I get RPM 4 times of actual RPM. The Autometer converter connects to the coil, NOT the magneto. (which would make sense b/c then you would have a hit every cycle) but, i can't figure out why it is 4 times higher, triggering off the coil?
