Hooking up MS-II to TFI AND MSD-6a

ok, i'm going to be hooking up my MS-II to a 87 mustang with TFI ignition and a 6a box, however i was trying to figure out how to hook it up to the MS-II. and here is what i think it is, but i'm sure someone knows for sure:

PIP- goes to pin 24 on DB37 From the TFI module pin #6
SPOUT- comes from pin 36 on DB37 To the tfi module Pin #5
TFI pin #4 is cranking power??
Then Pin #2 on the TFI moduel which would normally go to the coil, would that then go to the MSD box on the white wire?????

OR

PIP- goes to pin 24 on DB37 from the tfi module pin #6
SPOUT- Goes to the MSD box on the white wire, and not to the TFI module, and the TFI is basically just used for PIP???

i'm going to guess that option 2 will be correct, based off simplicity??
