always running rich, please help

Post by akickindanuts »

I am running a Megasquirt 1, Chevy 350 with a throttle body injection kit.
The engine runs wonderfully, but I am having problems getting it to run even stoichiometrically. It runs rich all the time, no matter what I try to do to it.

When I try to lean it out, nothing changes until I reach a certain level, and then it just dies. Same thing happens when I adjust the VE table. Does anyone have any ideas?

Toss the narrowband O2 sensor and get a wideband?

A log and msq file would help us to understand your install much better.

Are you sure you dont have a leaky or bad injector. I had one on mine that just basically ran full open all the time. Makes it extrememly hard to tune that way.
