TPS Not Calibrating

Post by BenjaminSmith »

Hello All,

problem: TPS (300zx sensor) is not calibrating using TunerStudio. Sensor position is shown at maximum (1083) on the panel at both closed and wide open positions.

Setup and current troubleshooting: microsquirt, 300ZX sensor, BMW 2002. TPS voltage to sensor verified at 5V. Ground verified. Sensor output verified (runs from ~0 volts to 5 volts at wide open throttle). So the sensor works but Tunerstudio/'squirt does not read the signal, just reads wide open.

I should also note that this input worked earlier, and essentially suddenly fritzed. Strangely, the coolant temp sensor is also out of calibration, when it had too been fine. Both sensors share the same Pin #19 ground wire...

Any thoughts are appreciated.
