A quick check of Google and eBay suggests the EJ20 uses either a 4-tower pack with a 3-terminal connector on a lead, or a set of 4 COP, each with a 3-wire connector (either close-coupled or on a lead). I'll assume you have the single 4-tower pack. IF you have an older uS with the side-mounted connector and a metal enclosure, you can drive the coil pack directly. If you have the newer V3.0 with the connector on top of a plastic housing, you need an external ignitor, whether DIY's QuadSpark, a Bosch ignition module, or similar.
