The tank is narrow and not verry tall , i guess i would need to cut it open to be able to fit a pump in there. I really dont want to hack into a 1975 vintage tank you know...

I found a 35lph pump for some KTM/husqvarna 610 cc EFI bike and i was wondering if it woul be enough to feed my 750cc engine

http://www.ktm-parts.com/FP-HUS.html#.Uua1AHg8Kc0

Good price , good looks , size looks good too and the low flow rate calls for a low draw.

I think it may worth a try , any thoughts??

That should do it, KTM 690s make 75 at the wheel, so that'll be more than your old 750. :)

argh its an IN-tank pump... i guess ill have to find a way to put it in tank , lots more choices of pumps... i just dont have the tank yet so its hard to figure out... one thing on my side is that the tank has a little trap door covering the gas cap so i may be able to hide something there and run the hoses and wires towards the fork and down under the tank

here's a picture i found of the model of the tank im talking about

btw sorry if im highjacking someone else's thread but it's an old 2011 thread so i guess the first user got his answers already :RTFM:

Oh great ! Ron from Auto Performance Engineering pointed me a low draw inline pump.

Walbro GSL414 , pulls 3 amps at 45 psi wich is pretty good!!
