The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.
However the forums will remain available for view, they still contain a wealth of information on how MegaSquirt works, how it is installed and used. Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview. While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. What has changed is that the method of MegaSquirt support today has rapidly moved to Facebook, this is where the vast majority of interaction is happening now. For those not on Facebook the msextra forums is another place for product support. Finally, for product selection assistance, all of the MegaSquirt vendors are there to help you select a system, along with all of the required pieces to make it complete.
This forum is for discussion of MicroSquirt (TM) from Bowling and Grippo. The MicroSquirt information site is at www.usEasyDocs.com

Can we assume by that, that beta testing has gone well?
Anyways, I'm glad to hear we're getting close. I can't wait to see what all of those creative people out there will make of this thing, I've got a few idea of my own.
As soon as they are available they will be announced, then you will be able to order from the dealers. The only holdup now is that Bruce has to finalize the production board. It won't take long and there is very little risk. Why isn't he moving on this ? Because he is spending all his time on preparations and presentations for the MS meeting this week.
As soon as the boards are submitted, its about 2 weeks to get them back, then another 2 weeks to get them populated and harnesses made, and add another week in case the assembly line schedule is busy, and add another week for all the shipping back and forth.
We can't set a price until we get a production run - then the manufacturer will give us a price, and we will give the dealers a price, and they will let you know.
What I said about the schedule is still true, except the final board design is still not finished, because Bruce is adding some last minute touches, including a header for connection to a small daughterboard which will provide wireless connection to MT. Andy Whittle brought up the excellent point that this feature, while just "nice to have" on a car, is really useful on a motorcycle, so Bruce felt it was worth the slight delay to get this in. He isn't going to wait for the design of the wireless board. but just wanted to put in the hooks so that when it is done people will be able to add it on. The board should be done either this weekend or by the end of the coming week.
Sorry to be impatient....but......does anybody know if the build & testing phase is still on track?? I've got a blow thru turbo'd GSXR1100 that is engine management less!! Really hoping the Microsquirt is going to be available soon as I don't have enough free space to fit any other ECU!! Guess that means I'll have to wait anyway!
