MS-II, Neon 420a coil

Post by synackack »

Hi,

I've been researching as much as possible before I start assembly of my MS-II. Before I go down the wrong path, maybe somebody could give me a sanity check.

Can I wire my megasquirt for VR input, with 60-2 wheel and use GME DIS/HEI modules or simply build two VB291 circuits to drive a Neon 420A coil pack?

Has anybody else done something similar with MS-II?

The present MS2 code has only a single spark output so cannot do wasted spark without the help of an external module like EDIS or GMDIS.

However, MS2/Extra is in the pipeline which given time should do what you want.

Yeah, I kinda gathered that. Already purchased an MS-II kit, guess I can go back and get the MS-I processor.

Is there beta MS-II /extra code out there?
