i have a pump just like that on my VFR and im almost willing to bet that it will NOT be an efi pressure pump. did hte bike you got it off of have carbs?

the engine is a 5MGE.

i made the vb921 circuit, i figure if the msd can be triggered off of what would normally be attatched to a coil then it shouldnt hurt to run the ms like it will be attatched directly to a coil. shouldnt hurt anything as far as i can tell, and we can switch back to stock coil ...

i have completed a megasquirt for a toyota supra of the 83 vintage and i have a few setup questions.

well, i figured it out. heres what i did.

i used the factory ignition module in the wheelwell. i removed the signal for reference pulse from the mocule thats controlling the ignition to the ECU and ran it JUST to the megasquirt and grounded the low line. (just like it shows for GMDIS setup pages) i ...

i have been informed i may need to install a FET signal booster into the reference pulse line cause im sharing it with the MS. is this true? it seems like a plausible concept.

this is what i tried. ALTHOUGH i have not wired in the reference pulse high and low yet. currently the older MS controlled module is sending the reference pulses. i think im going to try and patch the ref pulse wires into the factory ecu and just run the MS controlled one to the ms and then to ...
